ROME, N.Y. -- Rome families can now sign up to receive free toys for their children this upcoming holiday season.

The Christmas gift giveaway is organized by the Rome Rescue Mission.

Gifts will be handed out at the Mission at 280 E. Dominick St.

“Our Christmas gift program is a way to reach all those in our community who may need a little extra help this holiday season,” Interim Executive Director Lisa Patierno said.

The specific date and time will be shared with everyone who registers.

A valid ID for the parent must be presented at the time of pick-up.
