Local Business Donates 100 Dog Houses to Western NC | News | thepilot.com

Even when disaster strikes, “man’s best friend” will be there through it all. Such is true of the four-legged companions of western North Carolina that will, hopefully, be getting a much cozier place to rest their paws in the coming weeks.

Kaily Sivils, co-owner of Moore Equine Feed and Pet Supply, has been working with multiple rescue groups and companies to collect donations since Sept. 28. Partnerships with Aberdeen Supply Company, 4 Hooves Large Animal Services and Triple Crown Feed – to name a few – have also helped to match donations and stretch every dollar for pets in need.

Petmate igloo-style insulated dog house. The houses will come directly to Moore Equine Feed and Pet Supply before being taken to a warehouse in Fletcher, a town in Henderson County adjacent to the Asheville Regional Airport, which serves western North Carolina.
